Sullivan International Group, Inc., as managing partner in the Alliance Compliance Group Joint Venture, was awarded more than $8 Million dollars in new Task Orders on their NAVFAC SW Multi Media Environmental Compliance contract during the final month of Fiscal Year 2008. With additional awards in FY09, the $40 million capacity contract, now beginning its second option year, has more than $21.5 million in funded awards.The Alliance Compliance Group joint venture is between Sullivan International Group and their SBA Protégé firm, Allied Industries, Inc. of Los Angeles with two additional team subcontractors, MACTEC and URS. The new Task Order awards are for a variety of environmental compliance projects for installations in the NAVFAC SW Area of Responsibility, with the majority of the projects located in California.
The projects awarded consist of more than 70 task orders for a variety of air, water and other environmental compliance services. With the Navy continuing to place a heavy emphasis on its environmental stewardship within the region, Sullivan also continues to invest in cutting edge technology and resources to support the Navy with this important mission. Stewart Bornhoft, PE, PMP, Vice President and Navy Client Services Manager commented, “The award of the second option year and these new task orders show the confidence that NAVFAC SW has in the competencies of the entire Alliance Compliance Team. Based on recent Navy feedback, we fully expect to fill this contract to capacity in less than five years,” Bornhoft added.
